Apologies

Hello my lovelies, yes I am still alive. I cant believe I haven't blogged for so long. I have no real excuse either, I just stopped. I completely forgot about it and then my exams came around. Life has been a little crazy at the moment.

This post isn't anything interesting, it's just to let you all know I will be back on track with my blogging from now. I am still a very small blog, and I appreciate you all who read it, you all make me smile, post me some comments! If you guys could share my blog to your friends, that would be fab, I'll be doing a proper post either later on in the week, or next week.

10 Facts about me

Welcome fellow friends to my blog. I'm really enjoying doing this blog and I know this is only my third time posting and I don't have many followers but I really love the few of you who do follow! So if you'd like to spread the word and let others know about this blog please do! Or even if you just wanted to talk to me I'd love a chat. *I'll leave all my details at the bottom*.  I realised you guys don't really know much about me as I was probably one of the only people who didn't do a 'Question and Answers' or 'Facts about me' as their first blog, so wahey I'm going to do a 10 facts about me!

2. I was born on the 28th September 1997 which makes me 16.

3. I have Ulcerative Colitis and Epilepsy.

4. I have the most amazing boyfriend ever called Lewis and we have been going out since the 7th September 2012.

5. My favourite TV show is Criminal Minds, it is the best thing I have ever seen. If you have Sky its on Sky Living every Monday at 9 and if you have Netflix, seasons 1-4 are on there, I recommend you to check that shizzle out.

6. My favourite top end beauty brands would be either Benefit or Clinique.

7. I wear one piece of jewelry every day no matter what (unless I'm showering) and that is a heart shaped pandora ring my boyfriend got me on our year anniversary,

8. I WANT A PUG SO BAD! I'm addicted, I have a pug pillow, teddy, t-shirt just not a pug. *cries*

9.  I have 2 brothers one is 7 and one is 12 and I have 1 sister who is 14.

10. After I finish sixth form I plan to take a gap year and travel the world.

Thinking of 10 facts is actually ridiculously hard! I'm sorry if this post wasn't up to scratch but let me know what you think and let me know what you want me to post as I don't have many ideas.

Cardiff Haul

I've been meaning to put this post up for so long, I've just been super duper busy, I'll try and post at least once every 2 weeks now. So on the 30th of December, my boyfriend and myself took a train trip to Cardiff to do a bit of sale shopping and spend some of our money, so I thought I'd show you lot what I got.

This is what I ended up with

 Firstly we went to the Disney Shop. If you know me you will now how much I love Disney. My dream would be to become a Disney Princess at Disney world. Unfortunately where I live, the Disney Shop got shut down, so this was the first time I've been in ages. We were in there for ages. In the end I got one of the black bears from Brave and a Squishy mug from Monsters University.

 Next was the Lego store. Both me and my boyfriend adore Lego figures. Every time its my Birthday or Christmas or an event like that he'll buy me a little Lego figure. If you have never been to a Lego shop I strongly advice you to find one and go in they're amazing, no matter how old you are! We actually made these Lego figures. The brown haired one is supposed to be me.

 Next was River Island. I got so many River Island vouchers for Christmas, so it would be a waste not to look. There was such a massive sale on but I couldn't find much I liked. Sad times. I wanted some silver hoops for ages though and I was so happy when I found some, these were only £3. In the middle are a pair of navy blue legging which I now live in. They have black triangular bits on the side which are stretchy, they're just a jazzy pair of leggings and they were on sale for £10. Lastly I got a gold thumb ring. I've wanted a thumb ring for ages, but this ones gold and I don't really wear gold but it was only £2 so I'll give it a go.

I also went to Urban Outfitters and I've lost my Urban Outfitters virginity!!! This was the first time I've actually brought something from Urban Outfitters, I love it, but it's just so expensive. I brought the 2 scrunchies which I adore and I wear one everyday! I can't remember my hair without them. Both of these came in a pack for £6. This jumper was a complete bargain and the comfiest thing. It's so baggy and looks really good shoved on with a pair of leggings. It was £20 reduced from £40.

 Next stop, Jack Wills. I don't normally shop here but I just wanted to take a look. I fell in love with this beauty. Its the softest thing ever. I think it was £32 or around that price and it was on sale.

Next is Hollister. Like Jack Wills I don't normally shop in there. Also I don't have a Hollister where I live, which sucks because it is the nicest smelling shop I've ever stepped in. I am sorry this shirt is so creased. I love this shirt it's so pretty and I think it will look amazing in spring with maybe a bandeau. This was on sale and I think it may have been £39.

This fabulous jacket is from H&M. I don't think people understand how long I've tried to find a leather jacket for. I saw this one with no price tag on and I said to myself 'Layla you've spent enough, if its over £30 you can't get it' I got to the till and it was only £15 for a leather jacket!!! Reduced from £30, so I had a little happy dance *happy dance*

This wasn't from Cardiff, I ordered this from Asos although I thought I'd share it anyway. I really like the look of these they're just laid back, American baseball kind of look. This was £12. The sleeves are dark purple, I really wanted a burgundy one because burgundy is such a beautiful colour however they sold out, so if you want one, grab one quickly!

You may have also seen the Gilly Hicks bag. This has my underwear in, so I thought it would be a bit weird if I showed you all, but all their pants were on sale for £2.99, they are normally £10.

And because shopping is such hard work, I had to get a nandos, mmmmm.

Glad for this year to be over

So this is my first post and for you to get to know me better I thought I'd tell you how rubbish 2013 has been.

In January 2013, when i was 15 I was rushed into hospital. I had been very ill all over Christmas and even spent most of that day in bed. I was in a this hospital for 3 days and they couldn’t find figure out what was wrong with me. I then got rushed to a children’s hospital 45 minutes away from home. I had several tests such as a endoscopy and colonoscopy, and lots of blood tests (which made me look like a druggie with all my bruises) and I got told I had Ulcerative Colitis. I didn’t know what this was and had no clue it would last the whole of my life. I was put on several different medication and it took until April to kind of balance it. I was in hospital for 15 days.

In March i was on my way to a One Direction concert (don’t judge me) with a friend and we went to get a quick bite to eat. The next thing i knew I was lying on the floor, it turned out i had a fit. I bit a slight bit of my tongue off and there was blood everywhere so I got rushed to hospital. I got told i couldn’t go to the concert and they would contact my local doctors. A couple of weeks later i had an EEG. It showed i had Juvenile Myclonic Epilepsy.

In April i was on 3 immune suppressants, which meant it was very easy to get ill. I ended up getting shingles, which it’s kind of like a form or chicken pocks, it is very itchy and i have scars on my back from where it didn’t heal.

They tried to heal my shingles my putting me on medication, however that medication reacted with the medication i was already on and gave me kidney failure. Your kidney levels are supposed to be around 40, mine dropped all the way down to 352. Although they didn’t treat it, it luckily went back down. I was in hospital for 7 days.

Recently I got admitted to hospital again for having an infection, doctors had no idea what this infection was and i had so many tests as i was getting worse and worse each day. My neutrophils had dropped to 0.3 and they are supposed to be between 4-7. In the end they found out I ha Epstein Barr. This is like a form of Glandular Fever. I can’t get medication for this, it just makes me even more tired than I am.
